Q: Are all Angus brands the same?
A: No! The Certified Angus Beef® brand is the original and the best Angus brand. 
  • Our specifications are so strict that only 1 in 5 Angus-influenced cattle earn the Certified Angus Beef® brand name.  The 4 that do not meet our specifications may be marketed under another Angus label.
  • The Certified Angus Beef® brand is the only Angus brand endorsed and monitored by the American Angus Association’s 35,000 cattle ranchers.

Q: What makes it great?
A: 8 stringent specifications with marbling being the most important.
  • The amount of marbling (flecks of fat within the beef) is one of the most important differences between the Certified Angus Beef® brand and other beef brands.
